Delivery policy

Shipping is free within New Zealand for orders over $99. For orders less than $99 total, shipping costs are added according to the size and weight of the items ordered. Delivery method will be at the discretion of WildHunts Outdoor Webshop.

When we receive your order, our aim is to dispatch it the next working day (Monday to Friday).  Dispatch and delivery days are Monday to Friday. We source your orders from our store and suppliers and it can sometimes take 3-4 working days to collect everything you order. If there are going to be any delays beyond this time we will notify you by email. 

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.

Clearance items will remain online while stocks last, even if there is just one left. As our system will be updated with stock availability once a day, it is possible for you to order a sale item which we are unable to supply due to heavy demand that day. We apologise in advance if this happens and will notify you by email as soon possible.

We endeavour to ship your whole order in one shipment so there may be a delay if we find it difficult to source everything at the same time. If you require some of the items in your order urgently, we can split your order and send the rest later – email us via the Contact page and let us know if this is the case.

If you have a deadline for your order please include this as a comment on the Checkout page.  If you forget to do this when placing your order, please leave a message at the Contact page with the date you require the item(s) and we will do our best to meet your request. If there are any issues that prevent us meeting your deadline, we will notify you straight away.
We are required to include the correct post codes for all New Zealand addresses so please ensure you provide the correct postcode in your delivery address. This will also ensure speedy delivery.

For security reasons and prevention of credit card fraud we do not send any internet orders to PO Boxes or Mailbag addresses without prior agreement.

International orders

In general, WildHunts Outdoor Webshop is geographically limited to New Zealand delivery. However there may be a few exceptions. At September 2009, these exceptions include the WildHunts Fiordland Adventures DVD which may be dispatched internationally if ordered by clicking here.
 
In addition, JETBeam products may be dispatched to Australian addresses, although a shipping fee will apply. Australian orders of JETBeam products should be arranged by leaving a message at the Contact page (use the tab above). We will respond with payment details including shipping costs.

Damaged or non-delivered articles

If your order is damaged upon arrival please notify WildHunts Outdoor Webshop immediately via the Contact page. If your order fails to arrive within 5 working days of delivery date, please notify WildHunts Outdoor Webshop immediately via the Contact page.

There is a small window of opportunity for us to claim for missing parcels and failure to notify us in the above timeframes may result in no refund.

Refunds & Returns

With the exception of DVDs*, WildHunts Outdoor Webshop has a 14 day return policy on non-sale items sold via this website. The 14 day period begins from the date of purchase. Items returned within this time frame can either be exchanged or credited. Purchased items can be exchanged for any product of the same value or used as a credit towards an item with a higher value. If an item is exchanged for an item of a lesser value a credit will be given. Credits will only be given to the same credit card or account as the items were originally charged.

Freight charges are not creditable. It is the customer’s responsibility to freight the item(s) back to WildHunts Outdoor Webshop.  A credit will only be given or replacement items sent on the safe arrival of the items back to WildHunts Outdoor Webshop or their supplier. The item(s) must be returned in new condition complete with all packaging, ticketing and labelling. The item(s) shall remain the property of the purchaser until returned to WildHunts Outdoor Webshop. A freight charge will apply for the shipment of any new item(s) to the customer. A quote for return shipping will be given prior to dispatch.

Please contact us prior to returning the item(s) so we can discuss the options for both the product you wish to replace and the freight charges.

*Restrictions and exceptions
As a result of copyright laws a credit or exchange is only available for DVD’s if the product is defective.  NOTE: These products are still guaranteed under the Consumers Guarantees Act.

Warranties

All the products we sell come with a manufacturers warranty unless they are a used item or otherwise stated as ‘no warranty applies’ Some products have a specified time guarantee. Items with this type of guarantee usually state the time period on the product information card or docket. Some products may be sold with a ‘lifetime’ guarantee, guaranteeing that the item will stand up to the use for which it was designed for. This type of warranty or guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper care, accidents or the natural breakdown of the materials over time. This type of warranty or guarantee covers material, design and production faults. The warranty commences the day of purchase.

Please keep your sales dockets for warranty purposes. Warranties will not be honored without proper proof of purchase. The warranty on the item(s) only covers the original owner. WildHunts Outdoor Webshop at our own discretion, reserve the right to replace or repair any item found to be defective.

Material, design or production faults are rare. If you find your product to be defective please contact us. Some products may be covered by an International warranty agreement. In this case we may refer you to a local retailer or distributor. In cases where the item needs to be returned to us we will arrange either the freight or an agreed amount for freight reimbursement. Contact us before sending any item(s). Freight reimbursement will only be given by prior arrangement.

In the event or case of damage to an item due to accident or improper care, we can arrange to have the item(s) repaired at a reasonable charge. Freight will be the responsibility of the customer. A quote including return freight will be given.

Sales Dockets

A sales docket is included with all orders or in the case of the order been sent direct from our supplier it will be emailed to you. Please retain this as proof of your purchase. Proof of purchase is required when exchanging or returning any product(s), and will be required for any warranty claims.
