Mate had a good idea as he's a contractor and they break for the xmas period that a trip to Timber Creek in the Northern territory to fish the Victoria river might be the go. He would tow his creek boat up and another mate would tow his down from Darwin, sounded like a good idea I could get 7 days off work the young bloke could take the ones off between xmas and new years. So the plan was hatched there would be 3 in his boat from here and 3 in the boat from Darwin. So he leaves boxing day and we leave the day after as i had to work boxing day and sort a few things out the next morning. So distances from here to Timber Creek is 2100 klm from Darwin 600 klm, so they got there the Sunday afternoon and wee got there monday lunch time, the guy from Darwin got there Sunday arvo as well. So here are a few pics in all me and the young block had 3 days fishing and nearly 4 days travelling
Vic river from the Bradshaw bridge, this goes over to an army base

river is tidal 200 klm from the ocean but is fresh

I only caught 2 barra the other guy 3 and the young bloke 2 in the cast net, the other boat caught 6 and 1 in the cast net
